ForwardX does NOT collect, store, or sell your personal data on external servers. All forwarding actions are initiated and fully controlled by the user.
Permissions We Use & Why
SMS Permissions
READ_SMS and RECEIVE_SMS are used to detect incoming messages and forward them as per user configuration. SEND_SMS is used to forward SMS alerts to configured mobile numbers.
Call & Phone Permissions
READ_CALL_LOG is used to detect missed calls and call details. READ_PHONE_STATE and READ_PHONE_NUMBERS are used to identify device and call state. CALL_PHONE and ANSWER_PHONE_CALLS are used for call management features such as auto hang-up.
Notification Access
BIND_NOTIFICATION_LISTENER_SERVICE is used to read notifications selected by the user. POST_NOTIFICATIONS is used to display app-related alerts.
Audio Recording
RECORD_AUDIO is used only when the user enables call recording functionality.
Storage Access
READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, and MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE are used to access and forward call recordings or media files and to read file paths selected by the user.
Contacts Access
READ_CONTACTS is used to display contact names for better identification of calls and messages.
Internet Access
INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE are used to send data to destinations configured by the user such as email, Telegram, or APIs.
Background & System Permissions
FOREGROUND_SERVICE, WAKE_LOCK, and related permissions are used to ensure real-time forwarding. RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED is used to restart services after reboot if enabled. REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS helps maintain uninterrupted service.
What Data is Accessed
Depending on features enabled, ForwardX may access SMS content, notification content, call logs, contact names, call recordings, and device status such as battery or power events. This data is processed locally and forwarded only as per user settings.
How Data is Used
Your data is used only for forwarding alerts, triggering automation workflows, and providing monitoring features. ForwardX does not analyze, profile, or sell your data.
Data Sharing
Data is shared only with destinations configured by the user such as email, Telegram, API endpoints, or SMS. No data is shared with advertisers or stored on external servers.
User Control
You can enable or disable features anytime, choose what data is forwarded, remove destinations, or uninstall the app to stop all activity.
